Amcor is a global leader in developing and producing responsible packaging for food, beverage, pharmaceutical, medical, home and personal care, and other products. To support the next generation of skilled workers and tradespeople, Amcor is awarding up to 20 scholarships of $2,500 each to students pursuing industrial skilled-trade programs.
Applicants must be high school seniors or graduates who reside in one of the following states: Wisconsin, Minnesota, Iowa, Illinois, Indiana, California, Oklahoma, Louisiana, North Carolina, Arkansas, Ohio, Kentucky, Missouri, Pennsylvania, or New York.
Applicants must also be pursuing a certificate* or associate’s degree in an industrial skilled trade (mechanical, electronics or automation, for example) and have a minimum grade point average of 2.0 on a 4.0 scale (or its equivalent). Finally, applicants must plan to enroll in fulltime study at an accredited two-year college or vocational-technical school for the entire upcoming academic year.
